How to use Open Canvas

First thing is first, you need the program. [link] [EDIT: Old site went down, updated link is up.]

If at any point the program is in Japanese, go to the last menu and you can change it to English there.

To host a network session, go to Network, show network window, and enter a name. Then go to the last tab and set the canvas size and switch layers to 4 and people to the number you expect to have. Then go back to the first tab and push the button. Then you'll need to relay your IP to your friends who want to join. Make sure if you have a firewall to allow port 9001.

To join a network session, go to Network, show network window, go to the second tab, and enter the IP your friend who is hosting gave you. Then enter a name and hit the button.

I tryed OC and it seems to really leg with my tablet... Could it be my version?

Well, OC has poor memory arrangements. Your computer needs a decent processor and ram if you use larger canvases and or brushes. It also might depend on the tablet you use. I rarely have problems.

MY computer is only about a year old (2.1 ghz) but I do only havea $80 tablet... seems to work fine in Photoshop.

hmm, well, everyone i know uses a wacom tablet with it.....if youre not using it, then that might be the problem, and if you are, uhhhh....no clue? x.x

Turn off Windows firewall. Google ICF disable and look for the site that's the windows site for directions.

i hav oen canvas 3.05E im jus playin round with it lol!! but i dont know what u can mk with it or what to do to mk something?? help plz any tips n ideas will be fully appreciated. thanks
